Postmodern Crystal Stair Chandelier

A postmodern stair chandelier that clusters crystal heads around an aluminum frame on a single semi-flush plate. The heads face both up and down, so the ceiling is washed with light at the same time as the space below.

Design and materials

Crystal is mounted on an aluminum frame in black, gold or silver with a polished steel finish, and the head count sets the spread. The art-led modern form suits duplex living rooms, attics, villas and lobbies where the fixture is the focal point.

Where it works

The three to eight head versions suit a bedroom, study or landing, while the thirty to fifty head versions fill a duplex stairwell, attic void or villa lobby. Choose gold against warm stone, silver in a cooler room, and black where the crystal should carry the contrast.
