Ultra-Thin Dimmable LED Ceiling Light

A surface-mounted LED ceiling light with an unusually shallow body, only 6 cm deep on the smaller sizes, so it sits almost level with the ceiling. An acrylic diffuser runs across the face and spreads light from an LED strip instead of individual bulbs, giving an even wash rather than hot spots. Brightness and color temperature are both adjustable from the supplied remote.

Design and materials

The body combines iron and aluminum with an acrylic diffuser, finished in plain black or white. It comes in both round and oval shapes, which lets you follow the proportions of the room rather than defaulting to a circle. The flat, frameless face keeps it firmly modern and Nordic, and the black version reads as a graphic line on a white ceiling while the white version nearly disappears. The LED strip is built in, so there are no bulbs to fit.

Where it works

The supplier rates the 42 cm size for roughly 8–12 sq m, the 62 cm for 10–16 sq m and the 90 cm for 20–25 sq m, so match the diameter to the room rather than the look: 42 cm for a bedroom or study, 62 cm for a larger bedroom or dining area, 90 cm for a living room or lobby. Light color switches between white, warm and neutral either at the wall switch or with the remote, and the remote also sets brightness, which makes it practical in a room used for both working and relaxing. Choose the oval shape over a long table or a rectangular room, and the round shape for a square space.
