Layered Acrylic LED Ceiling Light

A surface-mounted ceiling light built from stepped acrylic layers that stack outward from the center, so the fixture has real depth without hanging down like a pendant. The acrylic edges pick up the LED light and read as bright lines when the fixture is on. It is offered in three, four or five layers, which changes both the footprint and the output.

Design and materials

The structure combines ironware and an alloy frame with acrylic layers, finished in black, gold or brown. The rectangular, tiered form is more decorative than a plain flush disc and leans modern with an art deco edge, especially in the gold finish. Black reads as graphic and contemporary, while brown softens the look in a warmer room. Four LED light sources sit within the layers.

Where it works

At 15–30 sq m coverage and up to 120 x 85 cm across, this is a main light for a living room, salon, large bedroom or dining area rather than a corridor fixture, and its 23.5 cm depth on the five-layer version needs a reasonable ceiling height. Step down to the three-layer 90 x 55 cm size for a bedroom or a smaller sitting room. Light options run from fixed cold, warm or neutral white, through a three-color changeable version, to a remote-dimmable version that moves between 3000K and 6000K and an app-plus-remote version if you want control from a phone.
