Nordic Tiered Crystal Chandelier

A Nordic chandelier that nests four to seven crystal-strung rings in soft descending tiers. The crystal scatters the light sideways as well as down, so the piece lights a room rather than only the surface under it.

Design and materials

Crystal is strung on a plated iron frame and hung on cords, with the ring count setting the overall scale. The restrained modern form suits parlors, studies, master bedrooms, hotel halls and dining rooms in Nordic-leaning interiors.

Where it works

The four and five ring versions suit a dining table, study or bedroom, while the six and seven ring versions hold a parlor or a hotel hall. Center it over the table or seating group and keep the surrounding palette quiet so the tiers stay readable.
