Nordic Firefly Round Chandelier

Dozens of tiny acrylic heads sit at the ends of fine plated arms, scattered across a broadly round outline. Each head is small and soft, so the whole piece reads as a drift of pinpoints rather than one bright fitting.

Design and materials

The arms are plated iron carrying acrylic heads, in black or gold and in two layouts with forty-five, sixty-three or eighty-one heads. The Nordic modern form suits contemporary living rooms, restaurants and hotel interiors.

Where it works

The forty-five head version suits a dining table or a bedroom ceiling, while the sixty-three and eighty-one head versions fill a living room or a restaurant floor of roughly 160 to 320 sq ft. Give it a dark or deeply colored ceiling if you want the points to read sharply, and set the drop so the lowest heads sit clear of sight lines across the room.
