Macaron Dome LED Ceiling Light

A surface-mounted ceiling light with a rounded macaron-style dome and a frosted finish that spreads the LED output evenly instead of pointing it straight down. It sits flush against the ceiling, so it suits rooms where a hanging fixture would be in the way. Five diameters from 23 cm up to 60 cm let the same design serve a small bathroom or a full living room.

Design and materials

The body is metal, specifically iron, with a frosted shade and a ground, matte surface treatment. It comes in white, chrome, green and yellow, which makes it either a quiet ceiling detail or a deliberate color accent. The soft dome and flat mounting plate give it an art deco leaning that still works in Nordic and contemporary rooms. The light source is built in, with two LED light sources behind the diffuser, and is operated by a touch on/off switch.

Where it works

Rated for 10–15 sq m, the larger 50 cm and 60 cm sizes are sized for a living room, bedroom or open kitchen as the main ceiling light, while the 23 cm and 30 cm versions fit a bathroom, hallway, porch or study. Two light options are offered: a changeable-light version that steps between warm white 2800–3000K, neutral white 4000–4500K and cool white 6000–6500K, and a brightness-dimmable version that is supplied with a remote control. Choose white or chrome when the fixture should blend into the ceiling, and green or yellow when you want the color to show.
