Lotus Flower Dimmable Ceiling Light

A flush-mounted ceiling light whose acrylic shades are arranged in overlapping petals, giving a layered lotus form rather than a flat disc. Color temperature runs from 2700K to 6000K and brightness uses stepless dimming, both set from the supplied remote, so one fixture covers warm evening light and cool task light. Design and materials

The fixture is built from acrylic petals on a forged iron frame, finished in white throughout. The petals sit at staggered heights, so the lit surface has depth and the fixture reads as a sculptural form from below rather than a plain panel. White acrylic diffuses the light evenly and keeps the piece visually light, which suits modern and contemporary rooms without committing to a metal finish. Head counts of 5, 10 and 14 scale the same petal arrangement up or down.

The 5-head size at 60 cm square suits a bedroom, study or kitchen, the 10-head at 76 cm a dining room or medium living room, and the 14-head at 92 cm a larger living room or open-plan area at the top of the 8-30 sq m range. Match the size to the room rather than the ceiling, since the fixture is wide and flat and needs clear ceiling area around it. Because color temperature and brightness are both adjustable from the remote, it is a sensible single fixture for a room used for both relaxing and working. Bulbs are not included.
