Spiral Crystal Stair Chandelier

A creative stair chandelier that hangs crystal strands from an iron chassis in a descending spiral. Each strand sits at its own height, which turns a tall drop into a loose helix of light rather than a single dense mass.

Design and materials

Crystal is carried on an ironwork chassis in gold or black, with head count driving both the chassis size and the drop. The modern form is built for loft apartments, duplex voids and villa stairwells, and it also works in a parlor or hotel hall.

Where it works

The six to sixteen head versions suit a parlor, study or master bedroom, while the forty head and larger versions are made for a loft stairwell or a duplex void. Set the strand heights to follow the stair rise, and choose gold against warm timber or black where the palette runs cool.
