Crystal Ring Staircase Chandelier

Crystal-set rings stack down a central drop in descending diameters, forming a tapering column. The crystal breaks the light into fine highlights at every level, so a tall void is lit and decorated at once.

Design and materials

Ironwork carries the crystal rings in sets of four, five or six, with diameters from 11.8 in up to 47.2 in and a drop that adjusts from 78.7 in to 118.1 in. The luxurious modern register suits stairwells, entrance halls and formal living rooms.

Where it works

The four ring set suits a single-story stairwell or a tall living room, while the five and six ring sets are made for double height voids and halls of roughly 110 to 430 sq ft. Center it in the void so the rings are seen from above and below, and keep nearby finishes simple, pale stone or plaster, so the crystal carries the detail.
