Rotating COB LED Surface Spotlight

A surface-mounted COB spotlight with a head that rotates and tilts, so the beam can be aimed at a wall, shelf or artwork after the fixture is fitted. It needs no recess cut into the ceiling, which makes it usable on concrete slabs and other surfaces where a recessed downlight is not an option. The 60 degree beam and CRI above Ra90 give a tight, accurate pool of light rather than general ambient coverage.

Design and materials

The housing is die-cast aluminum with a polished, plated finish, offered in black or white, with a lens over the COB chip. The form is a plain cylinder on a low base, with no visible ornament, so it reads as a technical fixture that disappears into a modern or minimalist ceiling. Black holds its outline against a pale ceiling, white blends in. A knob switch on the body handles on and off.

Where it works

At 3-5 sq m per unit, this is an accent and task fixture rather than a room light, so plan on several across a kitchen, dining area, foyer, study or bedroom. The rotating head makes it the right choice for lighting a picture wall, a bookcase or a counter edge, where the beam needs aiming off-center. Pick the lower wattages for close-range accents and 20W or 25W where the ceiling is high or the light has distance to cover; choose a dimmable variant if you want the output adjustable, as both dimmable and non-dimmable versions are listed.
