Ultra Thin DC Ceiling Fan

An ultra thin ceiling fan with a shallow housing made for low ceilings and minimal rooms. Three ABS blades run off a DC motor with six speeds and reverse rotation, and a tricolor LED light is built into the body. Everything is set from the remote, including a timed shutdown.

Design and materials

Iron and ABS construction keeps the body slim, and the supplier notes the ABS blades resist moisture and discoloration and wipe clean easily. Six finishes are offered: white, black, white and log, nickel and log color, nickel and walnut, and black and walnut, so you can run it as a quiet pale fixture or as a two-tone wood contrast. Where it works

The ceiling-mounted structure is intended for rooms around 2.8 to 3 meters high, with a downrod recommended above 3.2 meters. Keep blade tips more than 50 cm from walls and allow about 1 meter of clearance for stable running. Use 36 inches for a bedroom or home office, 42 inches for a mid-size living or dining area, and 52 inches for larger rooms; pick the two-tone wood finishes if the fan needs to tie into timber floors or furniture.
