Murano Stained Glass Chandelier

An art deco chandelier built from colored Murano-style stained glass on a polished steel frame. The tinted glass throws light both up and down, washing the ceiling in the shade's own color.

Design and materials

Polished stainless steel in chrome or gold carries stained glass in pink, white, green, or blue, across sizes from a compact single piece to a wide statement form plus a matching wall lamp. The Italian designer character suits art deco, eclectic, and maximal interiors.

Where it works

The 9.1 in (23 cm) and 17.7 in (45 cm) sizes suit a bedside, hallway, or cafe counter, while the 23.6 in (60 cm) to 31.5 in (80 cm) sizes center a dining table, kitchen island, or entry hall. Let the glass color be the room's accent and keep walls and joinery neutral, then repeat the frame metal in nearby hardware.
