Minimalist Aluminum Linear Ceiling Light

A surface-mounted linear ceiling light built from an aluminum channel with a frosted diffuser running its full length, so the output reads as one continuous band of light. Five lengths from 60 cm to 140 cm let you size the fixture to a hallway, a counter run or a dining table rather than settling for the nearest standard size. The LED strip is built in and the light is dimmable.

Design and materials

The body is aluminum with an acrylic, frosted-finish diffuser, in black or white. There is no visible hardware along the face, which keeps the profile clean and firmly modern and Nordic. Black draws a strong line across a pale ceiling, while white blends into it and lets only the light register. More than twenty LEDs sit behind the diffuser, and the fixture includes a knob switch.

Where it works

With 10–15 sq m coverage and a long narrow footprint, this works over a dining table, along a kitchen counter, down a corridor or across a balcony, and the longer 120 cm and 140 cm versions suit a living room or dining room where you want the light to follow the length of the table. The shorter 60 cm and 80 cm sizes fit an aisle, foyer or study. Fixed versions are offered in warm white 2700–3500K, neutral 4000–4500K and cool white 6000–6500K with no remote, plus a tricolor version and a remote-dimmable version if you want to change brightness after installation.
