Spiral Glass Globe Chandelier

A long chandelier that sets tinted glass globes on individual cords in a descending spiral. Each globe glows as a discrete warm point, so the piece reads as a slow helix of light rather than one bright mass.

Design and materials

A polished aluminum chassis in gold or silver carries globes in cognac, gradient blue or smoke gray, and the hanging wires can be set to different heights. The modern form suits villas, lofts, stairwells and tall dining rooms where the drop can be seen end to end.

Where it works

The six to ten globe versions suit a dining room or a single-story landing, while the nineteen to thirty-six globe versions fill a villa staircase or a loft void. Cognac globes warm a timber-heavy room, smoke gray suits a cooler palette, and gradient blue works where it is the only accent color.
